Hazel Kong

Office Manager, Hotline Counselor

Hazel Kong, Office Manager and Chinese Consumer Advice Counselor in the San Francisco office, joined Consumer Action in 1999.

As Office Manager, she orders office supplies, updates employee’s vacation/sick leave, keeps office equipments operating, coordinates with outside and in house mailings, in charge of membership database and manages the organization's out office calendar and other key in-house materials. 

As Consumer Advice Counselor, she provides non-legal advice and referrals to Chinese consumers.  She also answers inquiries from the Chinese media and responds to consumer complaints collected by local Chinese speaking radio stations. 

Before working at Consumer Action, Kong was a full time bookkeeper in a legal copy services company for six years. She is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
