Consumer Action advances consumer rights, nation-wide, by referring complaints, publishing educational materials in multiple languages, advocating for consumers in the media and before lawmakers, and comparing prices on credit cards, bank accounts and long distance services.

  Promoting pro-consumer policy, regulations and legislation and helping consumers be heard by those in power is an important part of Consumer Action’s work. We accomplish our goals through networking, coalition building, lobbying and media outreach.

  CA provides free, non-legal advice and referrals on a wide range of issues, in Chinese, English and Spanish
• Free Multilingual Publications
  Consumer Action distributes more than one million publications annually in five languages, making it possible to serve limited English speaking populations in every state. Our publications are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and other languages as well.
• Internet and Online Services
  Consumer Action was among the first consumer organizations to establish a presence on the Internet when its web site launched in the late 1990s.
• Multicultural/Multilingual Outreach and Training
  Consumer Action's multicultural and multilingual Community Outreach Managers offer educational materials and technical assistance, lead workshops, trainings and education at community events and respond to ethnic and community media inquiries.
• Translation Services
  Consumer Action's translation services, available in Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese, can help your organization accurately convey the meaning and tone of original English publication.
