The core of Consumer Action's educational mission is to improve financial literacy at the community level. Tailoring its community education approach, Consumer Action is able to promote informed participation in the marketplace by people of color, low income and rural consumers, recent immigrants and seniors.

Consumer Action serves the Asian-American/Pacific Islander (AA/PI) communities with multilingual publications, financial literacy programs, stipend grants, in-language media outreach, consumer hotline and multilingual website.
