Event Details

This course will focus on how CRA exams are used to evaluate a bank’s efforts to make loans, investments, branches, and services available to low and moderate-income borrowers and communities. This course will feature critical reviews of actual CRA exams of banks of different sizes obtained from the web pages of federal agencies. Participants will leave the course knowing how to interpret CRA exams and identify how rigorously the bank was evaluated by the CRA examiner.  Most importantly, the participants will understand how to use CRA exams and the CRA process to leverage more loans and investments in their communities.  This course is a must for a variety of stakeholders including affordable housing providers, housing counseling agencies, small business technical assistance providers, CDFIs, fair housing agencies, and other neighborhood-based organizations.

Location of this course will be posted later, or email aalbright@ncrc.org for details.
