Community Agency Order

PLEASE NOTE: These instructions apply to nonprofit and government agency bulk orders only. If you are an individual, or are ordering individual copies of a publication, please see "Individual Order," below. If you represent a for-profit corporation, please see "For-profit Organization Order," below.

Printed copies of our publications may be available in Chinese, English, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Nonprofit agencies and government groups may order them in bulk for free using the appropriate order form(s) listed below. Fax your completed order form to (415)777-5267, or send it to:

Order Forms Available in PDF Format (for Community Agencies)

The following order forms are available in PDF format. PDF stands for Portable Document Format and allows you to print a document as it was written, without losing any of the original formatting. In order to print a PDF file, you'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

In addition, some of our publications may be available in PDF format for download. With an Acrobat (PDF) file, an attractive brochure can be produced by printing both sides of a single sheet of paper. A 600 dpi laser printer is recommended and produces a finely detailed, easy-on-the-eyes document, but a 300 dpi printer will also produce acceptable results. When you are viewing the individual publication online, please look under the "Download PDF" section towards the end of the page for each publication for the PDF file, and click on the link to download.

For-profit Organization Order

Because of contract restrictions, we are only able to provide free materials to nonprofit and government agencies. If your agency is for-profit, you will need to pay for the items your organization receives. Please note that you are prohibited from using CA's name or any reference to its surveys or publications in advertising or for any other commercial purpose. Please follow these steps:

1. Download and fill out the appropriate order form(s) available in PDF format above.
2. Calculate the cost of your order, including shipping and handling charges, using the updated 2009 publication price list.
3. Make your check or money order payable to Consumer Action (sorry, we cannot bill you for items). Send your check or money order, along with your completed order form and publication price list, to:

Individual Order

The following is a list of publications Consumer Action offers to individual consumers who send us a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Please make sure you send us a business-sized envelope with the correct amount of postage required for the publication you’d like to receive. Send a separate envelope for each publication you want.
