Credit Cards
Can I be charged an upfront fee for a new credit card? Is there a limit?
You can be charged upfront fees, such as an application or annual fee, but they can’t total more than 25% of the initial credit limit. For example, if your credit limit is $300, your first year’s fees can’t exceed $75. (This limit doesn’t include penalty or other fees you incur for such things as a late payment or a cash advance.)Quick Menu
