Foreclosure errors: How to apply for an independent review
Wednesday, May 23, 2012
Borrowers who've been financially harmed during the foreclosure process, in 2009 or 2010, have the right to request an independent foreclosure review.
If mortgage servicer error is found borrowers may be eligible for financial compensation - even if they have already lost their home. Consumers should request a comprehensive review since they may not be aware of all errors that may have occurred.
The Federal Reserve Board has created a video explaining how to apply for a foreclosure review. Visit:

Or go directly to https://independentforeclosurereview.com/ or call 888-952-9105.
The deadline to request a foreclosure review is July 31, 2012.
