Student Loan Borrower Assistance
Student Loan Borrower Assistance is the single best resource for borrowers to learn of their rights and repayment options for student loans. The site explains the often confusing terms associated with education loans, and identifies options like deferment, forbearance, and new programs such as income-based repayment (IBR) for those struggling to repay their loans. In addition to providing useful "self-help packets," the site also closely follows policy changes and new legislation that impact student lending. This resource was created by the National Consumer Law Center.
