HP slashes TouchPad price for the weekend

The HP TouchPad has only been on the market for a month, but the company is already offering a crazy deal on it: For this weekend only, you can buy a TouchPad and get a $100 rebate. That brings the base price of the 16GB tablet down to $399, or $499 for the 32GB model. Earlier this week, HP knocked $50 off the price of the tablet on a special promotion ending Sept. 10.
