普濟電話推廣周展開

9月13日至9月19日是全國普濟電話推廣周，消費者行動和AT&T聯手合作，共同提供低收入社區居民相關申請資料及查詢優惠計劃詳情服務，務求使每一戶社區居民均備有住宅電話，以保護人人生活安全，並在有意外狀況發生時可以立即向外界聯絡求助。
消費者行動行政總監麥勤（Ken McEldowney）在此特別向符合申請資格但尚未享有加州普濟電話優惠的居民呼籲，即日行動早日加入行列，與其他數百萬的加州低收入電話用戶共享此一由加州公用事業委員會（CPUC）監管的計劃。AT&T 總裁Ken McNeely 也說明他們提供多元語言查詢服務，為符合申請資格的電話用戶詳細解答。....................(更多詳細內容請閱讀當天星島日報)
