For Sally Credille, everything is negotiable. Whether it’s buying a cellphone, setting up cable service or even paying an electric bill, Credille says she almost always bargains to get a better deal.
Credille, a marketing specialist based in Auburn, Ala., says she’s probably saved about $500 in the last five years through her negotiations, which include landing a lower price on a BlackBerry Storm cellphone and getting a power supplier to eliminate a service-transfer fee when she switched apartments in her native Atlanta.
