Online toolkit helps consumers safeguard medical information
Consumer Action Privacy Coalition partner, Patient Privacy Rights, has updated its "Privacy Toolkit" for consumers interested in protecting their medical data.
Patient Privacy Rights has updated its online “Privacy Toolkit” to help consumer protect their medical information. The toolkit includes a form that allows consumers to specify to their doctor or other medical provider which sensitive information should not be shared without consent, a checklist to help manage consents to medical personnel, and guidelines for discussing privacy with a doctor.
