Senator Elizabeth Warren calls on consumers to stand up for the CFPB

Hear a call with Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) reminding consumers of the progress that's been made by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and seeking grassroots support to keep the agency strong and independent.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) hosted a call with thousands of supporters reminding them of the progress that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has made in just five years - returning nearly $12 billion to about 29 million consumers who were harmed by financial schemes.

Senator Warren warned that the CFPB is now under attack. Many in Congress now seek to gut the CFPB and remove its director.

Senator Warren called on consumers to contact their Congressional representatives to save the federal financial agency that fights for consumers - to save the CFPB.
