National Cyber Security Awareness Month - October 2016
National Cyber Security Awareness Month—observed every October—was created as a collaborative effort between government, advocates and industry to ensure every American has the resources they need to stay safer and more secure online.
In honor of National Cyber Security Awareness month, Consumer Action has hand-curated our free privacy publications to help consumers enhance and protect their security online. Whether banking, shopping or connecting with friends on social media, there are steps you can take to protect yourself and your families from fraud, ID theft and cybercrime.
