Subaru has settled a case alleging that the batteries in Subaru vehicles drain prematurely, and that the company was aware of the defect but failed to warn consumers. Those who owned or leased a 2015-2020 Outback, 2015-2020 Forester, 2015-2020 Legacy, 2015-2020 WRX and 2019-2020 Ascent (except consumers in Alaska or Hawaii), will automatically have the warranty on their batteries extended. Consumers who have already paid money to resolve a qualifying battery issue can request reimbursement.
Claim deadline is Thursday, 09 March 2023.
