Dickey’s Barbecue, a Dallas-based restaurant with locations across the country, agreed to a $2.35 million class action settlement to resolve allegations that the company’s lax security resulted in customer payment card information being listed for sale on the dark web. Customers who used a payment card to make a purchase at a Dickey’s Barbecue restaurant between April 23, 2019, and Oct. 29, 2020, may be eligible for cash payment of up to $5,000 as well as two years of credit bureau monitoring and identity restoration services.
