Some school districts around the country that still offer behind-the-wheel drivers' education to teens may be putting them at risk in unsafe car. That's the conclusion of a study by the Chicago Tribune and Cars.com that looked at the cars used for training in the Chicago area and the cars' crash-test ratings. The findings: Many districts teach kids how to drive in smaller, cheaper cars that wouldn't hold up as well in a crash as a big vehicle. Looking over the list of cars used by various districts, most are recent-vintage vehicles rated good in crash tests.
