長者申請免加租計劃 財務局提醒無需房東同意

(本報記者)為幫助長者緩解房租壓力，紐約市向居住在租金管制公寓（Rent-Controlled）、租金穩定（Rent-Stabilized）公寓的62歲及以上長者推出「長者免加租計劃」（SCRIE）。市財務局人員10日在區公所向各社委介紹該計劃，並指出長者參與免加租計劃不需征得房東同意。此外，財務局人員也提醒長者謹防最近盛行的契約欺詐（deed fraud）。
