American Web Loan (“AWL”) agreed to a settlement regarding its lending practices. The lawsuit alleges AWL violated federal and state laws by making loans with annual interest in excess of state law or lending without a license. Consumers who obtained a loan from AWL between February 10, 2010 and June 26, 2020 may be eligible for loan forgiveness or cash payment.
