The lawsuit alleges that Business Information Group, Inc. (“BIG”) reported inaccurate public record information in background reports in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Individuals who were subject to a background check from BIG between December 17, 2013 and June 27, 2016 that contained a public record from TransUnion that the individual disputed may be eligible for payment. Individuals who were subject to a background check from BIG between December 17, 2013 and June 27, 2016 that contained a public record other than bankruptcy from TransUnion that that incomplete or outdated may be eligible for payment.
