Cable company DirecTV agreed to a $17 million class action settlement to resolve claims it violated the Telephone Consumer Protect Act (TCPA) when debt collectors working on its behalf made prerecorded calls without consent. Class members who received such calls from Credit Management, iQor, AFNI or Enhanced Recovery Co. are eligible for payment.
