Consumers who, as of January 22, 2018, own or lease a residence that installed InSinkErator F-201 Instant Hot Water Dispenser Filtration System and an Old Filter (F-201R filter cartridge manufactured from 2001 through January 31, 2011) may be eligible for a new replacement filter (with a maximum of three filters) or $15 cash per Old Filter (with a maximum of $45). Class members who experience property damage due to failure of Old Filter between January 22, 2018 and September 30, 2020 may be eligible to receive cash award of a percentage of the property damage expenses. The company reached a settlement of allegations that a defect in the Old Filter caused it to fail and flood.
