On Point Global lost a trial and must pay $85 million for running deceptive websites promising easy government services such as renewing a driver’s license. Consumers who paid for driver’s license or vehicle registration online on certain fake websites between January 2017 and December 2019 and didn’t receive a refund may be eligible for payment.
