SunTrust has agreed to pay $14 million to settle allegations of racial discrimination. The complaint alleged that African Americans are underrepresented as SunTrust Financial Advisors and that African American Financial Advisors were paid substantially less than their non-Black counterparts. If you were employed by SunTrust Investment Services as a Financial Advisor at any time between June 24, 2014, and Feb. 17, 2021, and self-identified to SunTrust as African American and/or Black, you may be entitled to payment.
