Anheuser-Busch, the maker of Bud Light Ritas brand products has agreed to pay $6 million to settle allegations that it violated false advertising laws by marketing Ritas as containing certain types of distilled spirits, such as tequila, and/or wine when they do not. Cable company DirecTV agreed to a $17 million class action settlement to resolve claims it violated the Telephone Consumer Protect Act (TCPA) when debt collectors working on its behalf made prerecorded calls without consent.
