The Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education (AFCPE) is offering a Financial Fitness Coach Q&A and Info Session on Tuesday, Sep, 26 at 1 p.m. ET. The association notes that coaching is not a replacement for financial planning but a way of working with clients to support them taking charge of their financial choices and implementing action plans. Saundra Davis of Sage Financial Solutions and Michelle Starkey of AFCPE will explain the program and answer questions.

AFCPE also has several upcoming professional development webinars that have been pre-approved for CFP® CEs.

  • Building the Bridge: Working Together to Strengthen the Continuum of Care: Experts across financial education, counseling, planning, coaching and therapy discuss the continuum of care. What it means. Why it’s important. And how it impacts you and the financial well-being of those you serve. (Wednesday, Sept. 27, 12 p.m. ET, 1 CE for CFP® certified professionals)
  • Bridging the Gap: National Hispanic Heritage Month Webinar Series: In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, AFCPE brings you a webinar series to begin to bridge the cultural gaps between you and those whom you serve, allowing advocates to increase client success and enhance financial well-being.  (Oct. 5 & Oct. 12, 12 p.m. ET, 2 CEs for CFP® certified professionals)
