Push back on paper statement fees!
Wednesday, March 10, 2021
The world is going digital, and there are many advantages. But Consumer Action believes consumers should have the right to receive billing statements and notices on paper via the U.S. Post Office if they prefer them. To add insult to injury in the relentless push to electronic billing, companies might offer paper but charge customers a "paper statement fee." We suggest you push back on such fees. If you have been automatically switched to digital billing, contact your service provider and/or bank and ask them to revert to paper communications.
