The lawsuit alleges that Infinity Staffing failed to clearly disclose that the background checks would be obtained for employment purposes in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Individuals who were the subject of employment background reports through the use of the form “Authorization for Release of Information” from December 6, 2011 to August 21, 2015 may be eligible for $110 cash. Individuals who were the subject of employment background reports and had adverse employment action taken against them based on the background reports between December 6, 2011 and August 21, 2015 may be eligible for $1,000 cash. Class members will automatically receive payment. Final Hearing is Jan. 11, 2016
