What is “Verified by Visa”?
When shopping online with a Visa card, you might see a window appear during checkout that asks you to provide your Verified by Visa password before entering your credit card information. This security measure is used only by those online stores that participate in the program as an added safeguard against online card fraud.
To activate the Verified by Visa feature for your Visa card, go to Verified by Visa website. Some participating merchants also allow you to activate during checkout.
